Had one phone call with an analyst, they asked me some technical and market questions. The call was kinda dry and didn't feel like a real conversation. I don't think I really got to show who I am.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process was pretty standard for IB roles. They asked typical technical questions, but nothing too complicated. It seemed like they were more focused on understanding my past experience and confirming my genuine interest in investment banking. The people I interviewed with, who were analysts and associates, were very laid-back and nice. They seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and appeared to be looking for someone they could work long hours with.

Applied via the campus website and had an on-campus interview. The first round involved a mix of behavioral questions (like why Needham and discussing past experiences) and technical questions (covering standard DCF and basic accounting). The interviewers were engaging and friendly to talk to.
