First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Motivus.
Business Analyst
The process was very slow and demotivating. They told me they had given great feedback on my profile and that only one last interview with the client was missing, which never happened. HR stopped answering my follow-up emails after a week. Because I gave priority to this vacancy, I missed another opportunity I was interested in. I am a bit disappointed and angry, not because of the outcome, but because of the way things were handled.
- What are the differences between data modeling?
- Describe a fact table.
- Describe a Python function.
Batch Developer
It was a very demotivating process, long and confusing. No response from HR, left in uncertainty. They promise feedback but it never arrives. Messages and emails about doubts go unanswered. I was contacted via LinkedIn for a first interview with HR. The second interview was with a technical person, around 60 questions in half an hour, no coding, just technical concepts. The third interview was with the client, about half an hour, to get to know me and my previous work.
- Could you describe your understanding of Linux concepts?
- Can you explain your knowledge of database concepts?
Player Support Agent
The process wasn't quick. I was waiting for updates and trying to reach HR. My emails were ignored, and sometimes it took up to 2 or 3 weeks to get a response between stages. I attended the final interview, which was a 'Workshop'. At the end, they said to expect a response within a week, whether it was a yes or no, and they promised feedback. I tried contacting both HR people 3 times over a month and a half, but I never got the feedback. I never received a response. Honestly, I found it very frustrating, and I felt disappointed in myself for not getting the job, and also with the company and the people in charge of the process for not helping me understand what I could improve.
- Why did you choose Motivus?
Backend Developer
They were attentive throughout the process, keeping me updated on any developments promptly and respectfully. Communication channels were appropriate, and I felt welcomed, even though the position was ultimately canceled.
- Can you describe your professional background?
- Could you give a brief introduction about yourself?
- What are your economic aspirations?
