First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MorganFranklin Consulting.
Cybersecurity Intern
I applied for the job via LinkedIn and after two months, I got an email for an initial call. The call was only 10 minutes and was pretty easy, not technical. I think there will be two more stages after this.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain how your skills match the requirements of this role?
Cybersecurity Intern
The interview process was really nice, with kind people and enjoyable conversations. There were about 3 rounds in total, and it was great meeting everyone. As I was interviewing for a cybersecurity position, a key part of the discussion revolved around what specific role I was interested in within the field. I was also informed about the possibility of moving to different departments.
- Can you share an instance of a failure and describe how you managed to overcome it?
Senior Consultant
I had an HR screening call first, which was fine and I liked the company rep. Then, there were three 45-minute interviews with Managers and Senior Managers. It went downhill fast though. One Senior Manager was a total jerk, acting like it was a power trip. He painted a really bad picture of the company, saying the work culture is toxic and you have to give your whole life to the company for them to invest in you. He kept interrupting me and didn't listen at all. The interviewers went through my resume, which is normal, but one guy seemed to make fun of my achievements. He spent ages grilling me on technical stuff, not to see what I knew, but to show off how much better he was. He wasn't listening and acted like he didn't care about technical skills anyway. I don't get why MorganFranklin would hire people like that to represent them. I knew I didn't want to work there after just one of those interviews.
- Can you share an experience where you encountered a problem with a client?
Manager
The interview process was very streamlined. I got the offer the very same day as my in-person interview. They made sure to have a few people from different backgrounds interview me so I get a better taste of what the job entails. Also, they went above and beyond to have a person with a very similar background as mine to interview me so I can better understand how I will stack up at this opportunity. The interview was more focused on behavioral questions. Also, it was very two-sided where they were selling me on the company while I was selling them on my fit for the position.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a conflict in a professional environment?
