I did my homework and MorganFranklin (MFC) seemed like the right size and fit for my career goals. A former colleague who works at MFC submitted my resume for a job that was open. The interview process was pretty typical. It kicked off with a recruiter screening call. Then, I had a number of interviews in person at their main office, and the following week, I had several more interviews over the phone. Everyone I met was really professional and showed the MFC culture. MFC is basically made up of experienced consultants who came from big consulting firms but like working in a flexible, entrepreneurial setting.

The interview process was very streamlined. I got the offer the very same day as my in-person interview. They made sure to have a few people from different backgrounds interview me so I get a better taste of what the job entails. Also, they went above and beyond to have a person with a very similar background as mine to interview me so I can better understand how I will stack up at this opportunity. The interview was more focused on behavioral questions. Also, it was very two-sided where they were selling me on the company while I was selling them on my fit for the position.

I had a zoom call with HR, then met with two senior leaders. Each meeting was about 30-45 minutes. A few weeks later, I was informed they weren't hiring for the role due to changing needs.
