First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MorganFranklin Consulting.
Senior Consultant
I had an HR screening call first, which was fine and I liked the company rep. Then, there were three 45-minute interviews with Managers and Senior Managers. It went downhill fast though. One Senior Manager was a total jerk, acting like it was a power trip. He painted a really bad picture of the company, saying the work culture is toxic and you have to give your whole life to the company for them to invest in you. He kept interrupting me and didn't listen at all. The interviewers went through my resume, which is normal, but one guy seemed to make fun of my achievements. He spent ages grilling me on technical stuff, not to see what I knew, but to show off how much better he was. He wasn't listening and acted like he didn't care about technical skills anyway. I don't get why MorganFranklin would hire people like that to represent them. I knew I didn't want to work there after just one of those interviews.
- Can you share an experience where you encountered a problem with a client?
Consultant
It started with a recruiter phone screening, then a manager phone interview, and finally an in-person interview with people from Sr. Consultant, Manager, and Director levels. The interviews were pretty relaxed with straightforward questions, mainly assessing your technical abilities and overall fit for the role. Typically, you'd get a call back the same day or the next day if you got the job, with an offer to follow soon after. The recruiting team really made the process smooth and kept me updated on my status throughout.
- Do you have experience with consulting walkthroughs?
Consultant
This was one of the most misleading interview processes I've been through. HR/internal recruiting communication was terrible throughout. I had a few interviews with managing partners that went really well, and the first two gave me the thumbs up. The final interview went okay, maybe not great. The last managing partner seemed to have no personality and didn't seem to care much, and needless to say, I didn't get the offer after that interview. I wasn't even told I didn't get the position, just completely ghosted. It's sad.
