First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mohawk Industries.
Process Engineer
Had an initial phone screening with the recruiter, then a remote interview with the hiring manager. The process was really streamlined and they made sure the expectations for the role were super clear. The hiring manager was really welcoming and knew their stuff. They couldn't offer me the job though because someone else was a better fit.
- What motivates your interest in this specific position and how do your qualifications align with the requirements of this role?
Master Data Coordinator
First there was a quick call to see if I was a good fit, then I went in for an in-person interview. Two people interviewed me, the director and a team lead. They asked general interview questions, talked about my resume, and then asked some hypothetical questions like “what would you do if XYZ…”.
- What would you do if a team member wasn't pulling their weight and you had a lot of deadlines, including a team project with them?
Project Manager
This was a pretty tough interview process with a lot of rounds, it took quite a while. They asked about budget planning and resource planning, so you should be fully prepared beforehand. It was quite tough. It would be better to practice with another project manager locally to be better prepared.
- What is your total years of experience?
- Could you share your experience with budget planning?
- How do you approach resource planning?
Account Executive
At Mohawk Industries, the interview process is designed to get a feel for your background. You can expect questions about your familiarity with our products, how you lead teams, your ability to juggle many projects, and how you handle employees who aren't meeting expectations. They'll also want to know if you're open to relocating, how you proactively suggest improvements, if you're okay with loud machinery, and how you make sure everyone on your team follows the rules.
- Can you tell me about your experience collaborating with different teams?
