QA Automation Engineer
Awful interview process. The first call was with HR, took around 20 minutes, regular interview where they ask for your experience, salary expectations, tech stack, and where the HR guy asked to come prepared to the next interview with an already build automation framework for do some tasks on a shared screen interview. Second interview was a total waste of time, first the interviewer presented it self and asked to explain in 1 minute my whole career as an QA Engineer, then he said for this interview i have 1 hour 30 minutes to create a Test framework from Scratch but the thing is he asked me to use his PERSONAL PC via remote which WASN'T configured at all, for this kind of exercise, we lost 1 hour trying to configure his PC in order to be able to work for at least try to install the software we need (Without mention his PC was super slow), and by the way no Google allowed on the test (like if in the real life no one googles...). Also the interviewer seems that didn't want to have the interview since every time i asked something he seems to be doing something else and very distracted. IMHO , they are not prepared to interview people, it seems they put some random guy to do it with ZERO interest on conducting a proper interview. Also there was no feedback at all! They just say the position was canceled, but that's a lie, the position is still there at the web page as well as linkedin. Do not make us waste our time if you are not looking for candidates, and do not make us waste our time with such disorganized technical interviews. Totally not recommend this company at all.
- Can you create a test automation framework from scratch?
Scrum Master
The interview at Modus Create had three interviews. First was with HR to check skills and culture fit. Second was with the Agile Lead to verify knowledge and experience, and check culture fit again. The last one was with a director for high-level conversations about management, product, and strategy. It was a really positive experience because the interviewers were clear about what they expected, what my day would be like, and what I could expect from them. Modus Create seems like a great company to work for, fully remote with a good culture and people who like to share knowledge. I'd recommend it.

UX Designer
So after the first call, I had like three interviews with different people on the team and then finally met with the director. The first two interviews were pretty good, but when I met the director, he seemed totally unprepared and like he hadn't even spoken to the other two people I'd met. On top of that, we had some audio problems during the call, and instead of trying to fix them, he just kept going, making it super hard to even talk. The really frustrating part is that after all of that, they've gone completely silent about my application status and whether they're even still filling the position.
- Can you describe your design process in detail?
- Could you provide a comprehensive review of your portfolio?
- How do you approach design reviews?
Senior Backend Engineer
The interview process was composed of 3 steps interview. The first round was with HR asking about the background and talking about the company. The Second was a tech interview with 2 team members asking some basic questions and a code challenger. Then another tech interview. He asked a lot of questions about basic concepts and design patterns. That last step was a really unprofessional experience. He came across as rude and, in my opinion. He interrupted me on several occasions and seemed annoyed.
- Tell me about your experience with AWS.
- Can you explain the difference between EKS and ECS?
- What are your thoughts on integration and unit tests?
