It was a pretty thorough interview process. They really dug into my background and experience with systems on FPSOs. They asked questions to make sure I really understood everything and would be a good fit for the job. All good questions, and the interviewer clearly knew their stuff.

I had a very quick interview at the old base (Macaé) with the HR folks and the Maintenance Superintendent, and then I waited 5 days for a response. After that period, I did the ASO and signed the contract. The whole process took about 20 days.

You sign up on the site for the desired position, then wait for HR to email you for an interview. After the HR interview, you'll have an interview with the department leader for the role. The HR and Leader interviews might happen together, depending on their availability. After these interviews, you'll proceed to medical exams, and if you pass, you're hired.

First, a recruiter call to schedule a technical interview with the Manager and the current Process Engineer. Second, a technical video interview, followed by a discussion about benefits, and the candidate states their desired salary. Modec does not share their salary range at this stage. Third, a video call with the Country Manager and the Director of Operations. Fourth, a call to negotiate salary and benefits. Technical discussions are in English. Only salary and benefits discussions are in Spanish.
