First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medix.
Sales Trainee
It was a three step process, very efficient. They wanted to get to know me beyond my resume. First was a recruiter call to screen me, then a tandem phone interview with the VP of recruiting in my region, then an interview in person at the office.
- What was the biggest challenge from your employers perspective?
Healthcare Recruiter
The first two interviews were phone calls, and they were quite long. It took a while to hear back between them, but I liked that the talent recruiters gave me info on what would be asked before the interviews. I made it to the final round, which was a 3-hour in-person interview with different employees.
- Can you tell me about your biggest accomplishments?
Account Manager
Got reached out on Linkedin. Had a call with the recruiter, then a virtual panel interview, and finally an on-site team interview. They gave me an offer right after the on-site day. It was a pretty straightforward process, and most of the questions were about personality, with some technical ones mixed in.
- Can you explain how your background connects with healthcare staffing?
Recruiter
This was the longest interview process I've ever gone through. It started with an initial phone screen, then I had a phone interview with two people. After that, I moved on to a "final" Teams interview where I met many team members and then two higher-ups. The interviews themselves were cool. Then, I was asked to speak with another manager who had been unavailable the day before. I figured an offer was coming my way after that. Following that, my recruiter called all my references. Afterward, she told me she wanted to speak to my old boss. I wasn't comfortable sharing that information because I hadn't talked to them since I left my last job. The interviews were fine, but getting feedback was a struggle. My recruiter was out sick for days and kept delaying my feedback multiple times. Eventually, I got a call from the last manager I interviewed with who informed me that since they couldn't speak to my former manager, they wouldn't be extending an offer. All the online reviews are accurate about them making you think an offer is imminent. I guess I dodged a bullet though.
- Can you handle working in a fast-paced setting?
