The interview process started with a phone screening and went well. However, the hiring recruiters who contacted me were not on the same page and provided mixed messaging. After going through multiple screenings and an in-person interview, I was ghosted and not informed on an answer.

This was the longest interview process I've ever gone through. It started with an initial phone screen, then I had a phone interview with two people. After that, I moved on to a "final" Teams interview where I met many team members and then two higher-ups. The interviews themselves were cool. Then, I was asked to speak with another manager who had been unavailable the day before. I figured an offer was coming my way after that. Following that, my recruiter called all my references. Afterward, she told me she wanted to speak to my old boss. I wasn't comfortable sharing that information because I hadn't talked to them since I left my last job. The interviews were fine, but getting feedback was a struggle. My recruiter was out sick for days and kept delaying my feedback multiple times. Eventually, I got a call from the last manager I interviewed with who informed me that since they couldn't speak to my former manager, they wouldn't be extending an offer. All the online reviews are accurate about them making you think an offer is imminent. I guess I dodged a bullet though.

This was probably the most unprofessional interview process ever. I had 2 interviews, first with a recruiter, then with the recruiter and the BDM. Everything was fine until the final round interview. The BDM only cared about what school I went to and why I chose it, and asked about extracurriculars/Greek life, even though I had professional experience. They didn't interview me based on my professional experience or ask any questions about my JOBS, spending 2 HOURS grilling me about my college experience. Super weird. Happy I didn't move forward now that I look back.
