The hiring process took a while, with three interview rounds in total. The first two rounds were fine and had standard behavioral questions. The first round was a panel with supervisors, the second was a panel with peers, and the third round was with the department head. This third interview was really harsh and disrespectful. It felt like the interviewer had already decided before I even started talking. I didn't get an offer, which I'm not surprised about given how the interview went. Honestly, I wouldn't want to work for someone who acts like that anyway.

I've applied and interviewed for a bunch of these jobs. They all take a really long time to get back to you. For one job, it took 4 months for them to even reach out for the first interview, and I still have applications in my portal from over a year ago that I haven't heard back about. The interviews themselves have been okay, but don't count on them getting back to you or letting you know if you got the job.

It was an in-person interview with two people. They asked flexible questions and we chatted about my resume. I didn't get to see the rest of the facility or meet other team members. The interview was about 30 minutes long and there were about five prompts. It was pretty self-directed, allowing me to freely talk about my strengths and challenges.

I applied for the nurse residency program at Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. The experience was okay, not amazing but not bad either. It took about 4 weeks to get a response about an interview. All the interviews were done over Zoom. They only asked nursing situational questions. For example, "tell me about a time that you had a conflict in the workplace." It was hard to seem personable through this process.
