Office Manager
I applied online and the recruiter reached out. I met the team the next day for 3 interviews back to back, followed by a brief meeting with the founder. It was a good experience meeting the team, conversations flowed naturally and I felt I did well. After a week of no response, I followed up with the recruiter. Still radio silence, so I followed up again via LinkedIn with an employee I interviewed with 2 weeks later. Later that day, I received a reply to my original follow up stating they went with someone with more G-Suite and M.S. Office experience, which I wasn't asked about but have experience with from school and previous jobs. The initial process was pleasant and speedy. I think they were looking for a "cultural fit" and not much diversity, given the majority of employees were females and it was an entry-level role for college grads. They should be more transparent and address concerns directly instead of assuming a candidate's lack of skills. Good Luck To All Future Candidates!

Account Manager
I had an initial interview with the co-owner, and then a multi-person, in-person interview. I asked a bunch of questions about the culture, and the answers really lined up with the negative reviews on Glassdoor. It seems like a very conservative culture, fully in-office with no remote flexibility at all (only 2 days a year to WFH, no exceptions). They reward employees for going 'above and beyond' rather than just excelling, and there are no initiatives to keep employees or build a healthy work culture. It feels like they expect you to be the first in and last out, and setting work/life boundaries is frowned upon. They also emphasized working 50 hours a week, which basically cut the hourly rate of the salary by about $8. When I asked an interviewer what they liked about working there, they just said they liked the clients (which is an external factor, not internal). When I asked how they create a positive work culture, they said it's by being in the office and having coworkers build friendships, which again suggests nothing is being done internally. When I asked about not offering remote flexibility, the interviewer said it was because 'too many employees were out at a time,' which to me means they don't trust their employees to do their jobs unless they're constantly watched. I also never heard back about whether I was moving forward, and I think ghosting candidates after a final interview speaks volumes. The employees were just sitting at their desks early in the morning, not talking to each other, staring at their screens with blank faces. The vibe was uncomfortable and stale. It might be okay for a new grad needing experience, but definitely one to skip if a healthy work environment is important to you.

Production Designer
Horrible interview process! I had a phone interview, then did a case study, and then they had me come in to meet with 3 people. The interviews went really well. I followed up 3 times with 2 people I interviewed with, but neither of them responded. The least they could do is respond after I spent time working on the case study and coming into the office! I would never recommend applying here. It's a waste of time! I wouldn't even want to work here after how they handled the interview process. I was a MealPal customer but cancelled my membership.

Product Manager
The interview process was pretty straight forward. I had a virtual screening then went to their office in person for an in person interview and had to respond to a business use case prompt in front of the head of product. The overall process was quick and seamless. They were very good at scheduling as well as friendly and open in person. The only thing I wish would happen differently was a formal notice that they would be moving in a different direction, otherwise I had a positive experience.
