I applied online and a recruiter got in touch. Then the hiring manager called me for a phone interview. It was super straightforward, the guy was nice. He asked a bunch about the company, what I'm up to now, and why I wanted to switch jobs. The next step was an in-person interview with the same hiring manager. I asked a ton of questions, and we chatted about the daily operations, the company stuff, the role itself, and what they expect performance-wise. I thought it went really well and the hiring manager seemed to like my feedback. About a week later, I moved to the next interview stage, which I also felt went great (maybe too great, haha). This interview had more situational questions. I was super hyped about the job and sent thank-you emails the next day. The hiring manager even replied with a thank you. Then I just waited. A week later, I called the hiring manager but got no response. I also emailed a few days after that and emailed the recruiter too. That was like 7 months ago. I never even got a rejection email or any word. Two months ago, I saw the job posting was back up, so I asked the hiring manager if I should reapply and they said yes. Still heard nothing since then - no formal rejection either. So I finally just withdrew my application. Maybe something weird was going on internally and they just never got around to closing the posting. I was pretty bummed about the complete lack of follow-up though, honestly, I felt like the time I invested at least deserved a heads-up that I didn't get the job or wasn't being considered anymore.

It was a well thought out interview process with written questions from HR. Many stakeholders were involved in the selection. They were looking for someone with global financial experience in a multi-national company. Professional courtesy and direct questions about my experience were prioritized. The interview process started with an HR representative who gave an overview of the requirements for the financial position. Then, there was a second interview with the department head stakeholder from Information Technology, followed by a third interview with the hiring financial department Head. Additional stakeholders were present during the interviews. There was also an informal interview over lunch with stakeholders involved in the process.

I got a call and they invited me for an interview the next day. The office was a bit far and traffic was bad, but it was easy to find. The HR Assistant was nice and asked me to fill out a form. Then I met the hiring manager. The interview took about 30 minutes. She said they'd let me know about feedback soon, but they never did. I followed up, but the HR Assistant kept saying there was no update. They should be more honest with candidates.

The interview process was rushed. The first interview was with the Planning & Analysis Manager and it was very standard. The second interview was with the Finance Director, and this was the interesting part. I was made to wait for an hour for the FD, and this was after the interview was rescheduled once. The whole interview felt like a casual chat with brief information about the position and self-introductions that took about 15 minutes. It felt like I was only being interviewed because the company had already decided who to hire. I was later told that I was not offered the job, and with hindsight, I realized the second interview wasn't very productive at all.
