So, the interview process started with a quick chat with HR, then there were two main interview rounds. Right before the last one, I had to do a short briefing and a test. The HR folks were super helpful, always got back to me quickly, and made sure I knew what to expect before each step. They asked stuff that made sense for the job and wasn't too hard. It was pretty quick between rounds, usually less than a week. All in all, it was a speedy and easy hiring experience.

The HR interview went really well. We went over my CV and experience, talking about how it fits the job. We also chatted about what we both want from this – what they're looking for and what I'm hoping to get. We touched on salary and benefits, which was clear and upfront. The interviewer was super nice and easy to talk to, and they explained what happens next and what I can expect.

So I had this interview, it was a screening call and then a group interview. The last stage was a spontaneous brainstorming of a research problem. They called it collaborative, but it wasn't really, you had to guess what they wanted with little help. It wasn't bad, but they could have been clearer about the questions and how it was set up. The main problem for me was they said they'd get back to me by a specific date but didn't. I waited almost a month for the final decision.

The interview experience was quite strange and the interviewer was a bit unpleasant. They offered a very low salary, which made me realize this wasn't a good fit. I countered with a much higher salary, but they declined. It's been months, but I'm sharing this now because I heard about a young woman who died at their office after managers allegedly didn't let her go home or call an ambulance. I hope they go out of business.
