I got referred by someone I knew and then applied online. First, I had a call with a recruiter. After that, I had to do a writing assignment. If I passed that, I went in for an in-person interview at the office. I met with my future boss, some other team members, and the CEO. I got the offer later that week.

I was personally referred and then got reached out to by a Recruiter. Had one phone screen, then was asked to do a writing assignment. After that, I went in for an in-person interview where I met my potential boss, the CEO and four other team members.

Behavioral Other

The whole interview process was smooth and positive until the in-person part. I was told I'd interview with two people for about 60-90 minutes total. I met Jil first, which was awesome, she was super professional. But then she told me the rest of the interview had to be rescheduled because of a scheduling issue. She said I should expect a call later that day to set it up. I waited almost 2 days and had to follow up myself. I finally got a reply saying they decided to move forward with someone else. I get their decision, but the issue was how they ended the interview abruptly and told me to expect a call soon... only to not get that call or finish the interview.

Behavioral Technical

I started with a phone call, and then they invited me to their office to meet some recruiters. You should take BART because the office is really close to the Montgomery Station. They asked a lot of general interview questions and some behavioral ones. After the interview, they offered me a role that I thought was a great fit. They said they would set up a video interview with the hiring manager, but I never heard back from them, even after I followed up with my recruiter via email. It was a really disappointing and unprofessional experience.
