First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mammoth Brands.
Product Development Manager
The whole thing took about two months, with a bunch of video calls and phone chats, and then an in-person interview in the city, which meant I had to take time off work. The in-person part was over 5 hours long. After all that, I had to wait another 3 weeks to hear back. When I finally got an update, it was just an automated email saying I didn't get the job, which felt really cold considering how much time and effort I put into the process.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a challenge and successfully navigated it?
Growth Marketing
The interview process with Mammoth Brands was long and felt like a waste of my time. It included a 4-hour in-person "superday" and a tough take-home assignment that took at least 5 hours to finish. I got good feedback from everyone I talked to, so the sudden automated rejection after people I spoke to apparently left the company was weird and messy. There was no real ending or acknowledgment of the effort I put in. I was bummed out because they say they're a people-first company, but it really felt like my time was disrespected.
- Can you share an example of a recent social media campaign from a brand that you found impressive?
Human Resources
The interview process was completely biased. The interviewer had less experience in the job-related field than I did and was only focused on diversity work and nothing else related to the position at large. I met every requirement for the role and was passed on due to clear interviewer bias. Leadership does not have a clear understanding of hiring and I would avoid interviewing here. Extremely biased and unbalanced.
- Can you discuss your experience with DEIB initiatives?
Graphic & Product Designer
Applied through LinkedIn Easy Apply and got a response quickly. The interview process was clear, but they only offered remote interviews. It started with a basic technical phone call. Then, I interviewed with the Head of Design, which was interesting and focused on my motivations for design and for Harry's. The final round was with three people, and it involved more standard behavioral questions from different departments. It was disappointing not to receive any feedback after the final stage rejection, even after asking, which made me feel like my time was wasted.
- What motivates you to apply to Harry's?
