The MaintainX interview process was way too long and badly organized, honestly. It took more than 6 weeks and had 5 rounds plus a big case study. The people were nice, but it felt messy. They said the case study, which was in round 3, was why I didn't get the job, but they only told me that after two more rounds. So, all that extra time and work felt like a waste. The last round was a bummer too. I waited two weeks for two execs, and then only talked for like 12 minutes. If the case study was the problem, they should have just said so right away instead of making me do more interviews. It seemed like their hiring is just too much, not clear, and they don't really care about the candidate's time.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

The interview process has 5 phases. I went through the first 4: HR interview, hiring manager interview, take-home assignment, and a technical panel. The last step would have been the CEO interview. I got good feedback on my answers, experience, and assignment in the earlier stages. But during the technical panel, I had trouble connecting with the group. The interaction felt disengaged and dismissive, unlike before. I really think the company should include women on technical panels, not just HR. The lack of diversity was obvious and felt like bias. From the start of the panel, it seemed like they had already decided, and my efforts to engage didn't work. I asked if I was being evaluated for an intermediate, senior, or lead role, but never got a straight answer. The only feedback I got later was: 'due to the results not being aligned with our role requirements.' But they never clearly defined the role requirements, and I wasn't told which level they were assessing me for.

Behavioral Other

I applied online and then had a phone screen and met the manager. They offered me another interview, but it took them until the day before to schedule it, and I had to be the one to follow up. Then, less than 2 hours before the interview, I got an email saying they hired someone and had to cancel my interview, so I took off work for nothing and wasted my time. The interviews were barely interviews; they mostly just talked about how much they needed someone and seemed desperate. I only answered one or two questions per interview. It all seemed very disorganized, and I'm annoyed by how it ended.

Group Presentation Behavioral

The interview process was really organized and they communicated well. It started with two phone calls, then I got invited to an assessment day. They gave me everything I needed to get ready. The assessment was in a group, with team activities and also my own 3-minute elevator pitch that I did one-on-one with the hiring team. It was a good experience and a good way to learn, especially since I'm pretty new to sales.
