The interview process was really organized and they communicated well. It started with two phone calls, then I got invited to an assessment day. They gave me everything I needed to get ready. The assessment was in a group, with team activities and also my own 3-minute elevator pitch that I did one-on-one with the hiring team. It was a good experience and a good way to learn, especially since I'm pretty new to sales.

Behavioral Other

I had one of the worst interview experiences with MaintainX. I applied for a Business Development Representative role, went through multiple rounds of interviews, and invested a lot of time preparing. After all of that, the company tried to push me toward a completely different position/territory that I never applied for or agreed to. This bait-and-switch approach showed a serious lack of respect for candidates’ time and career goals. Communication was inconsistent, the process was drawn out, and there was no transparency around what they were actually hiring for. If a company can’t manage a clear and honest hiring process, it raises red flags about how they treat employees internally. I would caution other candidates to think twice before engaging with MaintainX.

There were 5 rounds in the interview process: Recruiter Screen, BDR Manager interview, Case Interview, Duel JPS, and an interview with the SVP of Sales. It was a long process, but they communicated and assisted me really well throughout. It was very quick and efficient. The team was great, and I was very excited about the opportunity during the entire process.
