The scheduling was easy and the interviewer was nice. The interview took about 20-30 minutes and focused on my past virtual assistant experience, how I manage tasks remotely, and my client communication. I thought it went well and I answered clearly, drawing on my experience supporting executives and doing admin tasks remotely. A few days later, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward because my communication skills weren't a fit. This feedback was surprising since I work with international clients and use English daily. While I respect their choice, I saw online that other candidates, even native English speakers, got similar feedback, so the rejection reason felt a bit unclear. The process was organized, but I think clearer, more specific feedback would help candidates know where to improve.

Behavioral Technical Coding System Design

The interview process included a few interviews, starting with a standard HR screening and a culture fit assessment. Following that, there were several technical assessments, including a live coding session, and the process concluded with a final interview with the hiring manager. It was generally quite challenging. They appear to be very selective in their hiring, prioritizing speed and technical expertise.

The interview process was really long, spanning over two months. They would inform you about passing the initial interview, only to make you wait another month. The interviewer seemed tired and unenthusiastic, didn't show their camera, and asked unclear questions. The company appears to be racist; I passed the interview stage and was in training with over 15 people. The most vocal individuals, who were Africans, were dismissed. Conversely, Filipinos in the training, despite lacking experience or contribution, advanced to the shadowing stage. After three weeks of unpaid work, experienced individuals were let go simply because they are African. They specifically mentioned they don't care about your knowledge or experience, and that acting like you know too much will result in dismissal. It seems they are looking for less knowledgeable individuals who will remain silent and not ask questions. I cannot recommend this company; it's a complete waste of time.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

Applied on LinkedIn, it's a 4 stage interview. The first is an HR screening call to check if you've worked with react, node, and aws, and if you have team lead experience. The second is a 1-hour cultural fit interview with Project Manager Delwyn, focusing on team management and leadership. The third is a 1 hour 45 mins technical interview, a simulated code review of a small javascript app with an engineer. The fourth is a 30 min final interview with CTO Nick Novak. HR describes this last one as a general discussion about your projects and thought process, but it's actually a technical interview with theoretical questions, some not related to the role. Honestly, the first three interviews don't matter as much as impressing Nick in those 30 minutes. He decides if you're skilled enough. If not, you get a generic 'thank you' email after a month-long process. It's disappointing not to get feedback. I did like the simulated code review over a typical Leetcode problem because it's more practical.
