The scheduling was easy and the interviewer was nice. The interview took about 20-30 minutes and focused on my past virtual assistant experience, how I manage tasks remotely, and my client communication. I thought it went well and I answered clearly, drawing on my experience supporting executives and doing admin tasks remotely. A few days later, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward because my communication skills weren't a fit. This feedback was surprising since I work with international clients and use English daily. While I respect their choice, I saw online that other candidates, even native English speakers, got similar feedback, so the rejection reason felt a bit unclear. The process was organized, but I think clearer, more specific feedback would help candidates know where to improve.
