The interview process involved two rounds. The first round was with the head of business and sales manager, and it was relatively easier. The second round was with the head of finance and insurance for the group, and it was more in-depth, focusing on my knowledge and how I have assisted the team.

It was a 2 stage interview process. There was an intro interview and then a task. I met with several people. It was an overall good experience. The onboarding process was good. However, the induction is lacking since the takeover. The company handbook needs updating.

Had a 30-minute Teams interview scheduled, but I was basically kicked off the call after 30 minutes. They didn't ask many questions, it was more about trying to get ideas and leads out of you for technicians. The interviewer was the new head of resourcing who has basically brought over all his own staff from his old company, so I don't know why they wasted people's time interviewing. He has hired all people he has worked with and all of a particular gender. Considering this was for a job in recruitment, I don't know why they have an in-house recruitment team. They didn't let me know for 6 weeks, and in this time I knew people had been taken on, so I didn't get it. Applied for other jobs since, you don't hear anything. A call with some screening questions at most, just all working from home and doing school runs.

The company's communication was disappointing, and I haven't heard back about the interview outcome even after following up for feedback. The process started with an initial call from Lookers where they asked basic questions about my background and DBS check willingness. The person seemed nice and described the Sales Executive role at Mercedes Benz in Kent, including salary and hours. After I confirmed my interest, the interview was scheduled for the next day. I then attended an interview with both store managers. I answered some questions, discussed my past roles, highlighting how I consistently exceeded targets and was a perfect fit, especially since the managers mentioned they needed someone to boost sales as the current staff wasn't very proactive. I also presented past awards for exceeding sales targets. The interview lasted about an hour.
