The interview process is pretty long with several steps. After an initial phone screen, you'll have to complete a questionnaire that has five questions, but they all need pretty long answers. You get an Amazon gift card for finishing it, no matter if you move on or not. After that, there's a 90-minute in-person interview with the hiring manager and a colleague. Then comes a team interview, followed by another interview with people not on the team, and finally, a chat with the CEO. Depending on everyone's availability, the whole thing might take a couple of weeks.

I applied through Hired.com. The process began with a behavioral interview with the hiring manager, who is a senior engineering manager. He was approachable and allowed ample time for questions. Following that, there was a take-home assignment that was estimated to take 4 hours but actually took significantly longer due to the comprehensive requirements including correctness, design, performance, usability, and tests. This work was compensated with a $200 Amazon gift card. A questionnaire with essay prompts and self-rating on company values was also included, which felt redundant and awkward to complete. The final stage consisted of a 45-minute panel interview with six interviewers, a 45-minute review of the take-home assignment with two interviewers, a 30-minute meeting with a VP, and a 45-minute system design interview with two interviewers. While pleasant, it involved many people. After a week of no communication, despite two follow-ups, I received a generic rejection email. My request for feedback went unanswered. The process was generally well-executed with good intentions, though the take-home task was lengthy, the questionnaire felt unnecessary, and candidates deserve a more timely verdict and constructive feedback after investing so much effort.

Logikcull provided one of the most thorough and positive interview experiences I've had. The entire process spanned a month and included six distinct stages. It started with an external recruiter screen, followed by an internal recruiter screen. Then came an interview with the hiring manager, after which I completed a design task (which came with a gift card!). The next step was a design task presentation, including a Q&A session and a panel interview. This was followed by an interview with the CEO and CTO, who are the founders. The process concluded with an offer. Throughout, communication was excellent, and everyone was enthusiastic, friendly, and welcoming. Gazina, in particular, was outstanding and went above and beyond. This positive experience made my decision to join Logikcull straightforward; I felt informed, happy, and ready to start.

The interview process kicked off with a 30-minute phone screening by HR, followed by another 30-minute phone screen with the potential supervisor. Next, I had to complete a pretty comprehensive culture assessment survey. The final step was a 2-hour in-office interview with four staff members from the department. I heard there might have been two more steps, like talking to the CEO and setting up calls with past supervisors, but I didn't get that far. Overall, it was a good experience. I liked that I got to ask a lot of my own questions and meet some of the team I'd be working with. Maybe this is normal now, but it did take up a good chunk of time.
