The interview process is pretty long with several steps. After an initial phone screen, you'll have to complete a questionnaire that has five questions, but they all need pretty long answers. You get an Amazon gift card for finishing it, no matter if you move on or not. After that, there's a 90-minute in-person interview with the hiring manager and a colleague. Then comes a team interview, followed by another interview with people not on the team, and finally, a chat with the CEO. Depending on everyone's availability, the whole thing might take a couple of weeks.

Okay, so this company REALLY wants eDiscovery experience, so if you don't have it, don't bother. The process kicked off with a C-suite person hitting me up on LinkedIn and email. We chatted, and then I was handed off to HR for a basic rundown. Then, I had a one-on-one with that same C-suite person, who seemed pretty uninterested. Next up was a 10-question survey. About a week and a half later, I was in for a long haul - almost 4 hours. This involved two 1-on-1s with other C-suite execs, a panel with the hiring manager and two CSMs that included a vague QBR prompt, a 2-on-1 with those CSMs, and a final 1-on-1 with the hiring manager. I didn't get to the final interview with the Founders, and the reason given was 'lack of eDiscovery experience'. It felt like the feedback was similar to what others have seen, suggesting they already had candidates. Super weird, because they never asked me about my eDiscovery knowledge, even though I did my research. I put in almost 10+ hours total, interviews and prep, while working full-time. I honestly don't think they were seriously considering me after that first chat with the hiring manager. Seriously, if you lack eDiscovery experience, just move on.

The hiring process was really thorough and gave me a lot of information. All the interviews felt professional and personal. There were 5 interviews in total, plus a written questionnaire. They were all very open and helpful, and they explained everything clearly. It takes a good amount of preparation, but it's totally worth the effort!
