Liveops Interview Questions
& Process

I had a chat with a recruiter, who was really nice and professional. Then, I interviewed with the Data & Analytics team. It was a great experience, the people were genuine and had a real conversation about what they need and what they want to achieve. They asked smart questions, listened, and there were no games.

It was a super straightforward process. They basically asked me if I was just a warm body to fill the spot, and I confirmed. Onboarding was minimal, almost no paperwork, and I was allowed to use my own equipment.

First, they asked me to intro myself and then we got straight into my work. We talked about how I do it and how many years of experience I have. Then I started explaining how I began working as a web scrapper, what problems I usually encounter and how I solve them, and what value I would bring to the company if they hired me.

I saw a work-from-home ad on Facebook for Washtenaw County and commented for more info. Terri Arnold from Liveops Inc. messaged me on Facebook, told me to download Google Hangouts for an immediate interview and job briefing, and to provide an interview code. The whole thing was on Google Hangouts and lasted a long time, about 4.5 hours, and was very thorough. First, there was an information structure, then questions about my experience and strengths. The interviewer thought I was a perfect fit and said he'd let me know the HR board's decision the next morning after turning in my interview responses. The next day, August 10th, 2018, I was told I was hired. I received an employee contract and W-4 form via email to sign and fill out. We discussed needed programs and software; they said they'd provide a Mac Pro computer and funds to program it with HIPAA and other necessary data for Liveops, and I'd be able to contact my supervisor through them. They also mentioned providing funds for a home mini office. Later, I was told more programming was needed due to new HIPAA laws and I'd have to activate some cards costing about $200 for the programming and setting up the home office for weekend delivery. I said I didn't have the money and was skeptical, asking for a video chat or direct phone number to Liveops. This morning, August 14th, 2018, I was told this is how Liveops has been doing interviews for years. The person, Steven Scott, HR from Portland, Oregon, gave me his email. I've already emailed back the contract and W-4, so I hope this is legit because my SSN is on the W-4. The interview felt very real, asking all the usual questions and more. The pay is $30/hour, $25/hour during training, paid weekly.
