First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Liveops.
Customer Service Representative
It was a super straightforward process. They basically asked me if I was just a warm body to fill the spot, and I confirmed. Onboarding was minimal, almost no paperwork, and I was allowed to use my own equipment.
- Are you just looking to fill a seat?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online and it was a bit of a lengthy process since you'll be an independent contractor, not an employee. Once my application was approved, they sent me a phone interview where I just had to read a script. They wanted to hear my voice to make sure I sounded presentable and professional. If I was accepted, they sent me "A Invitation to Contract." You have two weeks to get your paperwork in. The background check and any fees are paid by you, not the company.
- You read a script on the telephone.
Customer Service Representative
It was a long and stressful process because I couldn't speak to anyone live. There was a background check for $60. All my questions were answered via email, including my inquiry about average earnings, which I was told to find on the website. I also heard that getting hours is tough, as you need to sign up early to secure the hours you want. The whole interview experience was unpleasant and made me feel like just a number.
- Did you have prior phone experience?
