It was a 3 interview process. Started with a screening interview, then a manager interview, and finally a director interview. The screening interview was pretty standard, asking about my interest in the role, my background, and salary expectations. The manager interview was more focused on getting to know me and asked a lot of STAR questions. After that, I had to complete an assessment and a personality assessment. The director interview delved into my technical background, including my experience with different programming languages, both backend and frontend.

I started with an internal recruiter I found on Linkedin, and after about a week, I had a phone interview with him which went well. Then, I was given an online DISC profile test and an online aptitude test. After another week of no contact, I reached out to the recruiter again. A few weeks later, I interviewed with the Sales Manager, and a few weeks after that, with the Sales Trainer. Finally, after a few more weeks, I had an in-person interview with the CEO and the President. While everyone was professional and nice, I had to constantly follow up throughout the process due to long periods with no communication. This drawn-out process made it difficult to stay engaged, especially while managing other opportunities. It was disappointing that after informing the recruiter I was withdrawing my name, I received no response at all. After two months, I expected at least a brief acknowledgement. This lack of communication confirmed my decision to withdraw and made for an awkward and disjointed experience.

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter the next day to set up a phone interview about my background and the company. After passing profile tests, I had an in-person interview with the Director of Sales Operations at their headquarters. The recruiter was very accommodating with my college schedule. My second interview went really well, giving me more insight into Listrak and the department. Soon after, I was scheduled for a final interview with the President, again in-person and at a time that worked with my school. During that final interview, I met with both the President and CFO. It was tough but I felt good about it. A day or two after that, I completed background check forms and provided references, which was the last step before getting an offer after the weekend. The whole process took about a month and was pretty easy. I appreciated how flexible everyone was with my schedule, and they were all very nice and professional, making me excited about the job.

The interview process was quite lengthy and included an initial phone screen, DISC and CLUES web assessments, and several Zoom interviews. It might have been better to combine some of these into fewer, longer calls. I had to adjust my work schedule multiple times for these separate Zoom meetings. For the last one, I even left work early and commuted for about 50 minutes to get home, only for the interviewer to essentially say 'Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. Any other questions?' which felt a bit redundant after so many previous calls.
