First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lippincott.
Brand Strategist
There were 2 virtual interviews and then a final in-person one. The first virtual was a chill chat with HR, although it got rescheduled a bunch and I was worried they'd ghost me. The second virtual interview was with two people from the office, also pretty chill, but they gave me a case to work on. The last interview was a "Superday" at their London office, which involved a bunch of interviews, a couple of cases, a written exercise, and a group activity.

Intern
It was a good 30-minute interview process. We went through my CV and talked about my experiences and how they relate to branding. It ended with a question about your favorite brand and how they can market themselves to appeal to younger generations while staying true to their brand values.

Production Specialist
Applied for a role at Lippincott through LinkedIn, got an automated rejection. A month later, a recruiter reached out about a different role, turns out it was the same one and the rejection was a mistake. We scheduled a call which got cancelled last minute, then rescheduled. The call went well and they said a video interview would be set up. After a couple of weeks with no word, I followed up. The recruiter apologized with some excuses and asked if I was still interested, saying the team wanted to interview me. I said yes and gave my availability. Another two weeks passed, and I got another email with another excuse about my previous email being missed. My confidence was really low by this point, but I still wanted to interview, so I gave my availability again. Finally, a week later, I got an email with potential video interview dates. We scheduled the interviews: one with a director in London, and the next day with another director from New York. The first interview was about an hour, and it felt like I was an inconvenience, the director wasn't interested. The second interview was 90 minutes, much better, thorough, and relaxed. After that, they went silent. About a month later, I emailed the recruiter again and got ghosted. They didn't even send a rejection email. It was a really poor and disappointing experience, especially being ghosted after three hours of interviews.

Creative Consultant
I applied online and heard back within a few weeks for a first round interview. It was a 30-minute call with a Partner where we mostly brainstormed a case. The next step was a 5-hour super day with three interviews, a group exercise, and a writing exercise. While the people were great, the super day felt a bit chaotic with so many people and the constant switching. They asked a market sizing question that felt out of place for a creative role. Each interviewer asked behavioral questions and also presented a case study (branding, naming, logos). I think it went okay, but they interviewed a lot of people for a small firm, so I'm not optimistic. The work itself also seems a bit uninspiring.
