First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Liberty Tax Service.
Business Development Representative
The interview process was pretty easygoing and not too demanding. Feedback was positive. The HR person was nice and let me talk about my past experiences, asking good questions. Overall, it wasn't a bad place to interview.
- Can you tell me about your prior experience in a Business Development Representative role?
Technical Support Specialist
Got a call the day after applying to set up the interview. It was the only one, about 20 minutes long, and I got an offer right away. The pay is less than other call centers and there isn't much chance to move up.
- How do you find an IP address?
Tax Accountant
I had a phone interview first. Then they brought me in for an onsite interview. It's possible there was a second interview, but I got hired after the first onsite. Two people interviewed me during the in-person.
- How do you handle stress?
Tax Preparer
The interview for the Tax Preparer role included questions about my motivation for the role, my current tax status (both federal and state), my comfort level with test anxiety, and my desired work hours.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career as a tax preparer?
- Can you confirm if your federal and state taxes are up-to-date?
- Do you experience test anxiety?
