Software Developer
It was a bit tough to get through and requires a solid understanding of coding fundamentals and design patterns. There was one technical round where we coded, and then an HR round. My interviewer was great, and we had a good discussion while coding.

Human Resources Business Partner
The Lenskart TA Team really needs to step up their game. They keep asking for interview slots out of the blue and don't even bother to confirm. Their meeting invites are a mess – one time the subject said video call but it was actually in-person. And if you try to ask them for clarification, crickets. I even showed up 30 mins early for one meeting and still had to wait another 15 mins, only to find out they thought I wasn't coming and didn't even know I was waiting at reception. Total waste of my time and money. No feedback or updates came after either. During the interview, I talked to someone who seemed less experienced and they just kept asking about my current role, grade, hierarchy, rating, and how much my increment was, all while bragging about their own job. I had a bad feeling from the start because they didn't seem focused on making employees happy. If they can't even get the interview experience right, I doubt they can provide a good employee experience. Honestly, even if they offered me the job, I wouldn't join and I'd tell others not to work here either. The whole thing was confusing and nobody communicated clearly. They've got a lot of work to do to fix this.
- Can you tell me about your current grade and role?
- Could you elaborate on your current grade and role again?
- What was your last rating?
Engineering Manager
The interview process lacked clarity; we weren't informed about the number or types of rounds, only finding out when interviews began. There were significant delays of weeks between rounds, with uncertainty about whether the next stage would even occur. The third round with the SVP was rescheduled last minute, and then no new date was provided. This happened after the interviewers seemed pleased with my performance in the first two rounds. It's unclear how the company is managing its interview loops, conducting only two rounds in over a month with no process transparency. Peyush should address this, as it appears unprofessional.
- Questions about managing teams and engineering workflows were asked.
- Questions related to people management and engineering processes.
