Technical Behavioral

Applied, did an online assessment, then a HireVue, followed by a telephone interview, and finally a video interview with a director. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. The questions weren't difficult, just strangely phrased, and the director I spoke with was introverted and blunt, which made it awkward. Don't worry too much about technical questions though; I don't think I encountered any.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process involved a 'Super day' which included three distinct parts: one behavioral interview, one technical interview focusing on a mathematical puzzle, and one case interview that required understanding core valuation techniques.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a phone screen where the HR rep was late and commented on a previous candidate being a 'talker'. Then there were two separate two-hour video interviews. The first went great, but the second got a bit informal, discussing cats and The Lord of the Rings before moving to basic questions. The final step was meeting the department head, which didn't seem like a personality fit, so I'm glad they passed.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, I had a chat with a Recruiter. Then, I met with the Hiring Manager. They wanted me to have a stock pitch ready, and we talked about the market overview, and mostly behavioral stuff. The next round was with another MD. We discussed my interests, why I wanted to join this team and focus on this particular sector, and what background makes me a good fit for the role.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you pitch a stock to me?
  • Could you tell me about a stock you've been following?
