This was a wild interview experience. After I was told I was selected and had submitted all onboarding paperwork, they suddenly changed their decision. Then, I was scheduled for another interview, but the interviewer didn't show up. HR said they would follow up, but I never heard from them again. The lack of communication and coordination really showed the chaotic work culture they're known for. Honestly, I'm relieved it didn't work out. 0/10 would not recommend.

So, after applying online for the Accounts Assistant job at Landor, I first got a call from HR. They asked about my background, why I liked the role, and about my availability and salary needs. Then, I had a second interview with the Finance Manager. This was more detailed and focused on my accounting skills. They asked me technical questions, like how I'd deal with invoice issues and my experience with software like Excel and Sage. I also did a quick practical exercise where I had to look at a ledger and find mistakes, testing my attention to detail and basic accounting knowledge. The people interviewing were nice and professional, and seemed interested in how I could help the team. Overall, it was a good experience and I got a sense of the company culture at Landor.

I went through three selection steps: a first one, online, with HR from the UK. Then I moved to the second one with two senior members of the team, one for each branch covered (one for the account aspect, the other for the typography). The last step happened at their hq, with the two people met in the previous call plus another one. The whole process lasted more than a month - I reached the shortlist but then was left off, but I really appreciated the detailed mail I received to explain the selection of another candidate.

HR contacted me about this role after an application I made for a different position they were no longer hiring for. The entire process spanned roughly 6 weeks. I interviewed with 3 to 4 different people across 3 interviews, with 2 being online and 1 in person. While they provided feedback promptly, I had to follow up with HR for an update after the final interview. Even though I didn't get an offer, it would have been good to hear back, especially after such a long process. The company and the people I met were nice and engaging, though.
