I had a phone screen with the recruiter in November, and it went well enough for them to set up an interview with the managers. The recruiter was really hard to get a hold of to confirm the date and time, only getting back to me the day before the interview. The management interview seemed to go okay. They said I'd hear back in a couple of weeks, but that was the last I heard from LGH. I tried following up multiple times by email and phone, but the recruiter wouldn't respond at all (never answers the phone). You need professional staff if you want to look like a professional organization. Ghosting is unprofessional and disrespectful, especially considering the time and effort candidates put in. It reflects poorly on the whole organization. My advice is to not waste your time and find a company that values your interest and treats you with respect.

It's best to prepare for the interview. Customer service roles are widely available across all industries because companies need to interact with and satisfy their customers through various channels like in-person, phone, email, chat, and social media. Despite these differences, the essential skills for a customer service job remain consistent, and recruiters and hiring managers are aware of this. So, when applying for a customer service position, remember that companies are looking for these key qualities.

I applied online for the job and then had a phone interview where they asked some basic questions. They specifically asked if I used nitocine/tobacco and stated that it's not allowed at the facility. After that, I had an in-person interview.

The interview process began with a phone call where I was asked if I smoked, and I answered that I smoke an occasional cigar. They stated that this does not meet their guidelines. I have seen their facilities and noticed that about 75% of their employees are overweight. I am wondering if their unhealthy eating habits prevent them from being hired, and I believe this is discrimination. I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against this discriminating company, and I will be the first to join. It's acceptable to clog your arteries with fat and unhealthy food, but not to smoke a cigar a few times a week. It's disgusting that they overreach like this. Are you checking if everyone working for you is or isn't getting an abortion? Are you ensuring everyone working for you eats low-fat salads instead of ordering from your cafe or McDonalds? It's discrimination! I urge everyone not to apply to this liberal, discriminating company.
