Technician
Recruiters will call you and ask some questions to see if you qualify. Sometimes I heard giggling in the background, making me wonder if I said something wrong. They'll say they'll submit your resume at the end, but it's a lie. If they don't want to hire you, they just say that to end the interview. Recruiters generally sound pleasant and friendly. I feel like some questions they ask are irrelevant to the position. They expect you to lie to them. If you feel the pay is low, say it's really high. If you think the office is small, say it looks like Trump's mansion.
- What makes you think you are a good fit for this job
Recruiter
After I applied, they sent me an email for a phone interview. At the end of that call, they told me to come to the office for another interview. When I arrived, I ended up having a Face Time call with a manager who was in a different state. After I got home, I had a second phone interview with a different manager, also in another state. Soon after, they gave me an offer. The entire process felt super fast, like they really needed someone for the role.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What about your weaknesses?
Research Scientist
I was reached out to by a recruiter about a role. We had a quick, friendly chat over the phone. Within about a week, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I went in for an onsite interview where I met with a group of people. Shortly after the onsite, the recruiter called me with an offer and we started working on the paperwork.
