Senior Benefits Analyst
I was excited about an open position that matched my skills and experience, and was even more thrilled when the recruiter reached out to set up an initial phone screen. On the day of the scheduled call, I didn't receive one. The recruiter's previous call ran over, so they asked to reschedule, which I was happy to do. The next day, I was stood up again, so I emailed to check in and offered to reschedule. No response from the recruiter. After waiting a day, I called and left a voicemail expressing my continued interest and flexibility. Later that evening, I got an email apologizing for the inconvenience, stating the recruiter was on PTO and asking to reschedule for when they returned (in two weeks). I was getting frustrated by the poor communication, but agreed and gave my availability. After that, silence. I waited a day after their return and sent another email to follow up and confirm my continued interest in rescheduling. As of now, it's been 10 days since they returned from PTO, and I still haven't heard back. I'm shocked that a company with such a good reputation would have such unprofessional and uncommunicative recruiters. Honestly, if I wasn't being considered anymore or if the role needs changed, I would have totally understood. But some communication would have been greatly appreciated. This has been a really bad interview experience.

Program Intern
This company seems to really not want to hire males for their internship program, unless you're a girl in a sorority, then maybe. I've tried so many times, even with working for Victoria's Secret and having gained good intern experience and skills, they don't even bother to interview me. I don't get it. I've seen girls with no work experience get hired on LinkedIn and I can't even get an interview. It feels discriminatory, and I'm not a straight male. I understand women and relate to them more than men, just another example of them not being current. I was interviewed for a position before, one that wasn't really the direction I want to work in the future, but the interviewer just seemed to be doing it to get me out of her hair.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Field Role
I applied for the job and after three weeks, a recruiter called me asking me to call them back. I did the next day but didn't get a call back. Two weeks later, I got an email asking for my availability for a phone interview. We scheduled it for that week. After that, I had two more interviews with the hiring manager and a peer. I sent an email the day after the third interview to recap and express my interest. No response. I waited a few days and emailed the recruiter again the following week, mentioning my interview experience, my interest, and asking for feedback if I wasn't being considered, as I wanted to know what to do differently. Still no response after two more weeks, not even a rejection email. Their lack of communication is telling, especially if the role requires good communication skills. If not trained, get training. It's unprofessional to leave candidates guessing and with a bad impression.
- How can your experience help us with our goals?
Textile Technologist
I interviewed for the same role in two different teams (Pink and VS) because they were both hiring. The VS team interview felt really strict, and the manager was looking for specific people skills. The Pink team interview was much more laid-back and positive. In the first round for both, I met with 2-3 team members and an HR person. The second round involved meeting with 2-3 managers from other departments to talk about how I'd fit in and my background. The recruiter was great at managing all the details, letting me know the timeline, and giving feedback.
