It was really confusing. Make sure you check the work schedule and hours. Also, ask about travel because what they tell you is very different. And verify the chance of promotion. I've seen many people stay in the same spot after being with the company.

I traveled 300 km for an interview at Konecranes, expecting a fair and technical assessment. But, HR only asked me personal and previous job questions, no technical ones. To make matters worse, at the end, HR said they already hired a lot of people and would only consider me if a spot opened up. It felt like a waste of time and resources if there wasn't a real chance. Companies should be more upfront and respectful of candidates' time.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process has a clear structure with well-defined stages for consistent candidate evaluation. They use assessment grids to reduce bias and compare candidates fairly. There's a space for candidate questions, showing respect and promoting transparency. The process is adaptable, allowing for technical tests, case studies, or simulations to assess specific job skills. They also provide constructive feedback to unsuccessful candidates, which improves the overall experience and the company's reputation.

Behavioral Other

The interview process kicked off with an HR chat, which was pretty chill and straightforward. Then came the main event: an interview with the branch manager. This is a big company with local branches run by managers, so the work environment really depends on them, like a small business. The manager seemed a bit nervous about hiring someone new, worried they might disrupt the vibe he’d created. He sees his team as a family and finds it hard to find the right fit. He interviewed me for over an hour, and it felt like we were going in circles. He said I'd hear back within two weeks since he had many candidates, but it's been over a month with no word. Pretty unprofessional.
