So a recruiter from the company reached out to me after I submitted my application. First, I had a chat with the recruiter. Then, I did a phone interview with a manager. After that, I had a video call with that same manager and another manager at their level. Finally, I interviewed with a third person. It felt like quite a few steps.

I had a phone screener interview with a recruiter. It seemed to go well, but then about a month later, I got an email saying they'd moved on with other candidates. Honestly, after a month, I kind of figured that was the case already. I'm not sure what they're looking for when hiring, but from my time working, I suspect most people who get a phone screener interview could probably handle the job. Sometimes I question if companies might have better results just hiring randomly, because based on how people perform and stick around, it seems like the whole multi-interview process doesn't really have a proven better track record.

These guys are unprofessional. First, I was kept waiting for 45 minutes. Then they put a lot of pressure on the interviewee to try to make them crack. Lastly, they had this weird arrogant tone about being "industrial blue collar guys" and constantly talking up how tough they are.
