First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KIKO.
Sales Associate
I arrived at Kiko Venice and had the interview in a very small storage room. First, there were the usual introductory questions (for example, since I'm a student, they asked me why I chose this field, etc.). Then it moved on to a slightly more technical phase. Finally, they told me that since I didn't have experience, they would possibly offer me an internship with expense reimbursement.
- General and introductory questions. The lady who interviewed me was very friendly and put me at ease.
- Tell me, why did you apply?
- What is it about Kiko that appeals to you?
Assistant Store Manager
It started with a recruiter call, then a store manager interview, followed by an area manager interview on Teams, and finally an in-person interview with another area manager. I felt overly experienced for the role since I'm currently a store manager. The recruiter seemed really keen to set things up quickly, which gave me some hope. The interviews seemed to go well, but then I got a rejection email with no clear reason, which felt like a waste of time.
- Given that it's a demanding role, can you describe a situation where you worked under pressure and how you managed it?
Sales Assistant
I had a 1-hour assessment that was supposed to be with the manager. But the manager had left for my interview, so they only showed their face for about 2 minutes. The rest of the time, a long-term store assistant watched me. The task was to stand at the door, greet people, try to hand out bags, and help customers. After the interview, I didn't hear back for over a week, and no reason was given. It was a waste of time because the hiring manager wasn't even the one observing me.
- What is your availability?
- What are your preferred working hours?
Accounting Finance Analyst
I applied through LinkedIn and got a phone call, then received a message saying I wasn't selected, but they scheduled a Teams interview, which would be the first of 4 or 5 interviews. The position was to replace someone who had already left and they were supposedly in a hurry. I didn't like the first interview, nonsensical and intrusive questions. They sent me a personality test by email, which made no sense, with adjectives in Brazilian Portuguese. I went to the second interview, in person, with the finance manager who spent a lot of time talking about the company, I barely spoke. Finally, they said they would contact me regardless of the answer and never heard from them again.
