Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process was super professional and clear. It started with a call from HR to set up a meeting, which was then confirmed with an email invite. The HR meeting was pretty chill, just a chat to see if we were a good fit and had similar goals, nothing tough. They mentioned a technical interview would follow, and soon after, I got the invite for the first one. This technical interview was useful for both of us to check the technical side. It felt more like a one-hour discussion, and the time just flew by because I was enjoying the exchange of ideas and knowledge. After that, they told me there'd be a final interview with the department head. This final interview was really professional and direct. It made it super clear what they expected from me, how they saw me fitting into the team, and what they were currently working on. It was very positive and made me really want to join. About a week later, I got the offer, which I accepted immediately. It was a great decision, and I'm happy I made it.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and heard back about a month later. The first 3 interviews were back-to-back, though one had to be rescheduled because the interviewer didn't show up. Then there was a hiring freeze. After about 2 months with no word, a recruiter contacted me saying I was done with interviews and just waiting for an offer or rejection. But then I had to interview with a VP. This VP interview was really awkward and rude, especially after I thought I was done. He asked me to introduce myself and talk about my work, and when I did, he just stared and told me to take a breath. When I asked what he was looking for, he said 'someone who can come in and be productive right away,' which contrasted with the earlier managers talking about culture and teamwork. This made me realize their real priorities. The first few interviews with consultants, managers, and directors seemed promising, and I thought it was a good fit. But the VP interview totally killed my enthusiasm for Keyrus. Because of this interview with a senior leader who seemed bored and only focused on money, I realized the truth and withdrew my application. Other concerning things were that nobody knew about the bonus structure, they couldn't guarantee I'd work with Microsoft tech even though it was a Power BI Sr. Consultant role (seemed like a bait and switch), multiple meetings were missed or forgotten, and they claimed they don't use utilization targets or performance metrics.

  • Regarding this Power BI senior consultant position, how much business do you do with Microsoft technologies, and will I be working mainly in that area?
