The interview process was quite long, giving me a good sense of the company. The final stage involved a 4-5 hour session meeting with various staff members from different departments. It's a lengthy process, but I felt it was worth the effort. Patience and preparation are key. Overall, I had a great experience.

The interview process was very direct, starting with an in-person interview that followed a recruitment event at my University. The interviewer was pleasant, and we had a good conversation. The initial round focused on behavioral questions. If successful, the next step would involve traveling to their Chicago office.

Behavioral Case

I went through 2 interview rounds, both on-campus and on-site. The first round was 30 minutes and focused entirely on behavioral questions. They asked me about my strengths, my motivation for healthcare consulting, and to go over my resume. I also had about 10 minutes to ask them questions about Claro. The second round was virtual because I had a conflict. It was 2 hours long and split into three 30-minute interviews with 5 different employees in total. Two of these three interviews were purely behavioral, and one was a mini-case study. There wasn't much time left for questions.

I had an initial phone screen with HR. They mentioned there wasn't an open position but said they'd connect me with someone on the team for a discussion. This led to four separate calls with team members. Everyone sounded positive and keen on moving forward. However, during each interview, the interviewer seemed unsure if there was actually a role available. I asked about the possibility of moving forward each time, and they were consistently uncertain. After about three to four weeks, HR reached out to inform me that the headcount hadn't been approved. It was a complete waste of time for me and the interviewers. I hope this didn't happen to others, especially considering there were over 500 applicants.
