So I got an offer from Kalypso on May 10th, which I accepted and signed the same day. The next day, they contacted me saying there was an issue with their website where I uploaded the signed offer. They asked me not to tell my current employer about leaving yet, but I'd already done that since I accepted Kalypso's offer. For the next 9 days, I checked in every day or two about the website issue and my start date. They kept assuring me they were working on it and my start date would remain the same. Then, on May 19th, they called to say the position was closed and they wouldn't be proceeding with the hire. This left me in a tough spot with my current employer because I had already informed them.

Technical Coding Behavioral

They scheduled a technical interview for me (no intro interview happened). The technical interview involves solving 2 problems in real-time. I was told I could use any programming language and come up with my own solution. Although the first problem was relatively simple, the interviewer was very insistent on solving it following their logic from the start of the interview. It was a highly invasive process where they practically wrote the code and then asked me to complete it. Normally, candidates are expected to develop the entire solution. They probably assumed I wasn't capable, or maybe that's just their way of interviewing. I perceived an arrogant attitude. The second interview is with HR, but it also includes some technical questions and delves too deeply into personal topics. They asked me inappropriate questions like 'If I called your former coworkers, what bad things would they say about you?' even though the interviewer's attitude was friendly. Definitely one of my worst experiences.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The hiring process involved two initial interviews at the company's office, followed by more than six phone interviews with various partners. It took over three months from the first interview to the offer. Most of the interviews focused on assessing personality and organizational fit, with one straightforward case interview where I presented past data analysis work.

Technical Behavioral

We started with a basic technical exam at their offices to assess entry level skills. Then, I had a personal interview with some of the local employees there to check for fit and go deeper into my resume and experience. Finally, there was a phone interview with a remote employee to review communication and wrap things up before they made an offer.
