So, I had an online interview first with some mid-level managers. They asked me stuff like, 'Walk us through your CV,' 'Why this role?', and 'Why this company?'. After that, I got this three-hour assessment, like a research thing, to do at home. Once I sent that back, they called me in for another interview at their office. This time, I had to present what I found to two senior managers and then answer their questions.

I passed the recruiter round but didn't get through the 45-minute hiring manager round. It wasn't the best experience, felt like the interviewers weren't that into my resume from the get-go and the conversation was kinda dry sometimes. After hearing back, I asked for feedback but just got a generic, automated email saying they picked others for 'alignment' and no actual feedback. It made me wonder about the company culture, especially after reading other reviews. Anyway, interviews show you a lot about a company, and I'm happy I have another offer so I don't have to end up here.

I applied online and got invited for an interview in London. The first interview was with an HR person and someone else, where we discussed my background. The next step was supposed to be a video call with someone overseas. Surprisingly, I was called back for another interview with a team member and another person who didn't explain their role. They mentioned someone was in a strategy meeting and had a stand-in. This interview felt like a repeat, focusing on my background and experience. The HR person asked about my salary expectations, and seemed unsure when I asked about the salary range. I was then invited for a final interview with the person who missed the earlier one, also with an additional person. The conversation was dominated by one of the interviewers, leaving me little room to speak. After this, I received an email stating that the HR person was on a long weekend and they wouldn't be making an offer, without providing any specific feedback, which was disappointing.

I first talked to HR for about 30 minutes, and for the most part, they let me ask the questions. I had a similar experience with the next four people I spoke with, who were all from different levels at the company. I also had to complete a four-hour writing assessment, which was tough if you haven't done investigative work before. After the assessment, I had one final interview with the Executive Managing Director. This interview went well and followed a similar format to the previous ones. In total, I had six interviews and the four-hour assessment, which added up to seven hours just for this company, not including all the time I spent preparing. Honestly, the company isn't worth the experience and time I wasted. They don't really train you, even though it's an entry-level position, and they have more of a 'learn as you go' approach. I wouldn't recommend it unless you already have experience in this type of work.
