Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So first there was a phone screen with HR where they asked me about my experience, why I wanted to work there, and if I was qualified. Then I had an in-person interview with two managing directors. They asked similar questions about my motivation, background, and relevant experience. One or two of them asked more detailed questions about my past research, really focusing on investigative experience. After that, I had a 4-hour written assessment. It sounds worse than it is – basically, they gave me a short scenario and I had to research some info and write a short report, simulating a 'due diligence' situation. It was pretty straightforward, no special knowledge needed, just good googling, information sorting, and report writing skills. Following the assessment, I had three more short interviews, about 10-15 minutes each, with an SVP, a managing director, and a current analyst. Everyone I met was nice and competent. However, K2 talks a lot about being agile and dynamic, but their hiring process felt very corporate and traditional.

Behavioral Technical

I talked to 5 people in total (4 execs and 1 HR person). The interviews were mostly about me and why I'm interested in K2. It was all pretty chill and friendly. The interviews happened over two days, with about a week between them. It wrapped up with a 4 to 4.5 hour writing test.

It was a two stage interview process with a written test. The first interview was with two middle managers, and the second was with a partner. The writing test involved reading an article and identifying potential risks.
