Product Marketing Manager
Started with a screening call from the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, then I talked to the Hiring Manager. Next up was an interview with Marketing Management, followed by an interview with the VP of Product. It wrapped up with a Panel interview with Marketing and Product leadership where I presented my response to a short candidate task. The whole process was communicated and planned well, with interviews 3-5 all booked together so it didn't drag on and they could tell me the outcome that same week.
- Can you share your background and experience?
- Walk me through a recent Go-to-Market strategy you were involved in, detailing your contribution from the initial planning stages through to the final launch.
Product Support Lead
So I was supposed to have an interview, we scheduled it and then nobody showed up. I sent two emails, and a few hours later they got back to me apologizing saying the interview somehow got removed from their calendar. They rescheduled me for the same week, but then the hiring manager told the recruiter she wouldn't start interviews until the next week, even though they had originally booked me for the previous week. Anyway, I agreed to reschedule for the next week. Then two days later, I got an email saying they've put the position on hold and don't know when it'll reopen, so they're not moving forward with the interview. It's been a mess, and honestly, I thought the role would be great for me and I didn't even get to show my skills. They had me going back and forth on the calendar. I appreciate the apologies and attempts to fix it, but that last email was too much. These companies need to remember this is our livelihood. If you're sure about a role, post it. If not, don't waste our time with applications and scheduling.

Customer Success Manager
This was a COMPLETELY WASTE OF TIME interview process. It wasn't too hard and was interesting to learn more about the company, but if my profile wasn't a fit from the beginning, they should have just said so. I ended up having 6 interviews over about 4 weeks with different people. One interview felt like just chatting on Teams instead of a real conversation, which was rude and immature. After all this, I got a courtesy call saying I wasn't selected because there were stronger candidates. The recruiter couldn't explain it professionally and it felt childish when they said they'd consider me for other roles because they liked me. It also felt like connections (friends or family) were a factor. What seemed like a dynamic company turned out to be the most assertive & discriminatory interview process I've experienced. Being interviewed by people I wouldn't report to made me think management is too weak to make decisions. They call it a chance to meet colleagues, but it's a waste of time meeting 4-5 different people. The leadership seemed arrogant too.

Software Engineer
The interview process was overall really nice and they were very detailed about the company and what they did. I felt like they really wanted you to understand what the company stood for. The only issue I had was that one of the interviewers didn't really prepare to set up the code environment and I was left trying to figure out how to run my code in addition to the problem asked. I hope they fix that issue moving forward.
- There was a white boarding problem.
- There were behavioral questions.
- There were coding questions.
