Jockey International Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process had 3 main stages, with a bonus fourth interview at the end. It started with a phone call from HR. Then, I had a video call with some higher-ups. The third interview was a 2-hour in-person session with 5 different people, which is longer than usual as it's typically just 1-2 people. The last interview seemed to be unplanned, likely because of how competitive the role is and because other important employees were in town. Overall, I really enjoyed learning about Jockey as a potential employer and would definitely consider applying again if the chance comes up.

I had a recruiter video call that was about 40 mins, it was pretty easy. Then I had a second round with the hiring manager, also by video call, for a bit over an hour. They asked typical questions about my experience. The final round was on-site and involved 6 interviewers and a presentation. The presentation seemed to be a test of my public speaking skills since that's part of the job. It went well, though it felt a little performative.

The interview process was very easy and a bit odd at times. I was initially told about the position and its responsibilities. However, in the next interaction, I was informed that the store could not afford the salary for the role. I've never experienced such a drawn-out process for a job application, which has been going on for months. It's frustrating to be kept in limbo about whether I have the job or not. If it's this difficult to get hired at Jockey, I won't waste my time dealing with what felt like complete lies. I'd advise others to avoid this company as well; they are unprofessional and string people along.

I met with the General Counsel and a paralegal. The paralegal asked me two questions and then said she was done. The attorney asked me questions to see if I'd be a good fit and could handle advising department heads who likely have big egos. However, he asked a lot about my current remote work, which made me uncomfortable and felt like he didn't really get how lawyers with a book of business and global clients work remotely, and he seemed to have some biases against it.
