First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jobspring Partners.
Technical Recruiter
A friend referred me. First, there was a recruiter call to get to know me, asking about my entire life story, not just my education. After that, I had my first official interview with two recruiters who explained the day-to-day tasks. Then, I had to call the district manager and do a 7-10 minute pitch about why I'm a good fit, what I know about the company and position, and how I'd fit in. Once cleared, I came in for a presentation where I acted as a recruiter from JobSpring pitching to potential clients. Finally, I had a final interview with the district manager where I was offered the position and asked about my start date. They were very clear about everything and provided detailed instructions via email on what to prepare for each interview.

Sales and Recruiting Associate
I applied online on LinkedIn, then got a call for a 10-15 minute chat that ended up being about 30 minutes, mostly about their background and how they got into Jobspring. After that, they set up an in-person meeting. I went to the office and talked with several managers about the job, their teams, and how things are structured, and they even mapped out career progression and talked about expected salaries. Then they wanted me to call them and sell myself on why I was interested. Finally, they wanted me to come in again to give a short presentation on a local company.
- Describe a situation where you exceeded expectations.
- Can you share an instance of when you were competitive?
Sales and Recruitment Specialist
I had a phone interview with a recruiter from their US head office, and it went well. We talked about general stuff, the job, and what I wanted for salary. Then, two days later, I had an onsite interview in Toronto. The interviewer there was pretty arrogant. He said my looks were better suited for a bigger company and that this company is aggressive and always moving because of market competition. It was only 10 minutes, and I thought it was unprofessional. He didn't even look at my resume and seemed to have decided before I even got a chance to show what I could do.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What are you hoping to gain from this opportunity?
- What is your understanding of our company?
Marketing & Events Specialist
There were too many interviews for this job. First, a phone call where they asked basic resume questions. Then, an in-person interview with a Marketing & Events Specialist, with more repetitive questions. Next, another phone interview with someone from headquarters. Finally, a presentation was required. I even flew in early from a trip for this last interview because they said it was urgent. After the interview, I asked about parking since I had to pay for it for both interviews. The manager said they have a garage for $150/month, or I could park illegally like many employees do. The salary they offered is very low for LA. The manager promised a call within 24 hours, but never called. I emailed everyone, and only the woman from the conference call responded, saying they chose someone else. So unprofessional.
