First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JCW Group.
Compliance Officer
The HR team responded quickly and was very friendly, attentive, and responsive. Even though the role wasn't a perfect fit due to one specific element, they were interested in my professional background to see if I might be a good match for a future opening.
- Can you tell me about your past experience and highlight specific details relevant to this role?
- Could you elaborate on particular aspects of your previous experience that would make you suitable for future positions?
Associate Consultant
Got an email from an assistant who found my resume on monster. Asked if I was interested and to send in my most updated resume. After sending my resume, I got a personality and IQ test, which I completed. The next day, I was contacted about a phone interview and we set it up for the same day. During the call, she asked me questions, and everything seemed great. At the end of the call, I got an email saying I was no longer being considered because I didn't have enough experience. I felt like it was a waste of my time because they should have seen from my resume that I didn't have experience in the field. I also think it was unfair to reject me for that reason, especially since the job description said no experience was needed as all training is provided before starting.
- Can you tell me about your social life?
Content Marketing Executive
It was a 3-stage interview process. For the second stage, I had to prepare a presentation of my marketing plan. After the 3rd interview, they asked me to complete a random personality test. Even after going through the 3 stages and putting in the effort to create a plan, they never got back to me and kept brushing me off when I asked for an update. The interviewer was also sometimes unprofessional and it felt like a boys club.
- He asked me for my favorite word.
Recruiter
Professional and friendly people. I felt welcomed and supported throughout the process. I spoke with a few managers and some junior staff members. I got a same-day offer. Back then, they expected you to accept right away to show interest, but that might have changed.
- What is your biggest motivator?
- What are your goals for this role?
