First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Investigo.
HR Officer
Got ghosted after a few interview stages, even after I followed up with emails and LinkedIn messages. It started with the recruiter reaching out on LinkedIn and setting up a casual chat. After that, I had interviews with other team members. Everything seemed to be going fine until they just stopped responding.
- What are your thoughts on standard HR practices?
Consultant
It was a comprehensive process with several stages that gradually increased in difficulty. All the questions and content were relevant, and it gave a good sense of the team and the hiring manager. It was also a good opportunity to ask questions and learn more. The first round was about introductions and getting to know each other. The second round went into more detail about why I was a good fit for the role and my motivations. The third round involved meeting more team members. The fourth round was a discussion about initial ideas for a business plan, after which a decision was made.
- What makes you want to work for Investigo?
Associate Consultant
very thorough I met 3 different teams and people at all levels of the business - consultant, manager, director, executive director. They focused more on me as a person rather that the role that i was applying for. my motivators, ambition, personal life (without being intrusive). They seemed like they wanted to get to know me rather than just hire me for my skills.
- Can you describe yourself in three words?
- Could you tell me about a time you overcame significant adversity?
- What are your primary motivators?
Recruitment Consultant
I reached out to Investigo in early 2023 because I was planning to move to the UK later that year. I had several interviews with different senior leaders and the internal recruitment team. Everything seemed to be going well, I received positive feedback, and I enjoyed my conversations. Before they made an official offer, they mentioned they'd want to meet me in person once I arrived in London. In the meantime, I turned down another job offer because I felt really good about Investigo. After I flew to London, I met with the manager in person, and they said they weren't sure if there would be any suitable vacancies for my experience at the moment but would be in touch. They never contacted me, even after I tried to follow up and asked for feedback. It's okay if they weren't interested, but it would have been better to let me know about their doubts instead of leading me on for almost 6 months. Given that the company's core values include "Honesty, Transparency, and Authenticity," I was very disappointed with how I was treated.
- Could you prepare and deliver a presentation?
