First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Integra Software Services.
Software Engineer Trainee
Integra Software Services has a pretty solid interview process with a few steps. First, there was an online aptitude test covering logic, quant, and basic coding. If you passed that, you went on to a technical interview where they checked your programming language knowledge, OOP, data structures, databases, and how you solve problems. They also threw in some coding exercises there to see if you're accurate and think well. After the tech part, it was an HR interview, mainly looking at how you communicate, work in a team, adapt, your career plans, and if you're up for different kinds of projects. It felt professional and open, giving a chance to show off both your tech skills and how you interact with people.
- Could you describe what Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is and give a practical example of how it's used in making software?
Project Manager
Applied for a remote role and went through three different interviews with three different people, plus email communication with a fourth. Things moved quickly after I applied. I was offered the job and was supposed to get details on benefits, but never did. I kept hearing it was a busy time and they'd get back to me soon, but then communication just stopped. I was never officially told what happened or why the offer was rescinded, even though nobody told me the offer was rescinded – they just disappeared. While everyone was nice, the ending was really disappointing. The emails were often confusing, vague, and not well-written. I was offered the position and was very interested, but I wanted the specific benefits information before giving a final 'yes'. I got some general info, but nothing about costs or coverage details – the kind of standard info companies usually have ready.
- Can you share details about your past experience?
Product Manager
The interview process included a written test covering aptitude, letter writing, scenario-based letters, letter corrections, vocabulary, math aptitude, logical reasoning, and situational questions. This was followed by an experience discussion with an AVP, focusing on past experiences, situational questions, team management, client interactions, vendor management, and communication. Next, there was an interview with the PM lead, and finally, an HR discussion.
- What actions would you take if a team member deviates from established rules or instructions?
Programmer Trainee
The interview process involves three rounds. The first round is aptitude and technical. The second round is HR technical, and the third round is an HR Personal interview. The whole day is dedicated to the interviews. They had issues managing candidates, making everyone wait for 4 hours without lunch, while the interviewers ate.
- Can you explain SDLC?
- What do you understand by inheritance?
- Describe polymorphism.
