The interview process included a screener call, an interview with leadership, and an interview with a direct report. The screener was quite short. Both of the subsequent interviews heavily featured scenario-based questions, such as "Tell me about a time when...". It was quite disappointing that after about 3 hours of fairly intense questioning, with little time left for my own questions, the rejection came via an automated email from "The Talent Acquisition Team" instead of a person. It wouldn't take much effort for a person to send feedback after I invested 3 hours of my time.

The interview started with a chat with a recruiter, then I met with two people from the Technical Success team. The recruiter was nice and I moved on quickly. My visit to the office was a bit odd. I had seen some bad reviews online but tried to stay positive. Still, the office felt quiet and unhappy. The interview itself felt okay. The interviewers seemed to focus on difficult situations, which was an interesting interview style. They even asked about my marital status, which I found weird and possibly illegal, but I answered to keep things going. I sent thank you notes, but later found out I didn't get the job due to 'intense competition,' even though the posting reappeared shortly after, which seemed contradictory.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

First, there was a phone screen with some technical questions related to the job. After that, they told me I'd get an in-person interview. So, I went to the office for the next interview. The first part was just a casual chat, and the second part was a technical test covering the skills needed for the role. I also had to bring examples of my past work that fit the position. They let me know about the third interview within two days. The first in-person interview was with the hiring manager, and the second was with the department directors. Since all the skills had been tested already, this last interview was just a 'get to know you' session. It was a good chance to ask specific questions about the company and the job. Everyone was really straightforward and open.

The hiring process felt a bit drawn out. After my initial application, I had to reach out after about a week to check if they were still hiring. I reapplied a week later and got an email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went fine, and then I waited another week for an in-person interview. After that, it took another week to hear back about whether I got the job. The interview itself was okay, with standard questions. The interviewer, Jonelle, was really nice, and it felt more like a chat than a formal Q&A. I wish the hiring process was faster, but I get that businesses take time for this.
