Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process was enjoyable and seamless. I had an initial screening through the recruitment agency, who briefed me well and I felt prepared for the face-to-face introduction. InMoment's HR contact was warm & friendly and put me at ease straight away. All information was provided promptly and set my expectations correctly. The interview was a panel, with a mixture of the account team and VP services. It was mainly conversational & competency based, with a short prioritisation exercise afterwards. I felt that it was a well-balanced conversation, and my nerves melted away as soon as we began our discussion. I understood that InMoment were keen to arrive at a decision promptly. I was pleased to have feedback from the interview first thing the following morning, as well as an offer of employment.

Behavioral Presentation Technical Other

The hiring process was really smooth and fast. It kicked off with an HR chat, then I met with two directors for a face-to-face chat, and the final round was a presentation to HR, several directors, and a VP. I liked the different interview styles. The HR chat was pretty standard, you know, the usual 'tell me about a time' kind of questions. The next interview with the two directors was more like a casual talk, where we discussed who I am, what I've done, and my work history in general. I really enjoyed the vibe, it didn't feel like an interrogation at all. The last one was the presentation, where I was given a topic to prepare and present. Given the schedules, my turnaround time was tight, but it went well. After presenting, I stayed for about 30-40 minutes and answered questions from everyone there, covering the presentation, my work history, and general role-related stuff.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved a phone interview and then three 1-on-1 interviews, followed by a presentation to six people. The first interview was with three Directors, and it was pretty relaxed. I was a bit worried because of reviews I'd seen online calling the company a "good ole boys club." The second part was presenting to a group of five men and one woman (the recruiter). The vibe felt negative and closed-off, reinforcing the "good ole boys club" idea. The recruiter kept looking at a Director, and another Director was looking at his phone, but he was actually checking my LinkedIn. This Director then asked about my career and education, and surprisingly said he'd never heard of my school, which I found unprofessional. I also expected them to have reviewed my resume beforehand, but they hadn't. The presentation interview itself had very little guidance. When asked how I developed the presentation, I explained I created it and am passionate about customer service. The expectations felt a bit unrealistic given the lack of direction. At that point, I knew I didn't want to work with a team that had that kind of atmosphere. I felt like I wasted my time and money on printing materials and preparing for the presentation for three hours. I'm glad I didn't get an offer, as I've since found a new job where we use inMoment, which has changed my perspective on this company.
